Software
- I am trying to make CIM easy to use. I am writing an ruby ActiveRecord like API for it called ActiveCim, which is not ready yet. To access the CIMOM, I developed language bindings for the sblim client library.
- I participate as a developer in the KDE project, I used to be the official representative and press contact for Chile.
- I am the original author of Kopete, KDE’s Instant Messenger, now evolved into a very big software development project with great team from of developers all parts of the world contributing and maintaining it.
- I also wrote some interesting plugins for Kopete, like a webcam motion detection Auto-Away plugin (using video4linux), a Latex renderer plugin for the chat-window and the first Facebook plugin (now obsoleted by XMPP).
- I maintain a couple of packages for the openSUSE project, using the openSUSE build service. See my home project.
- Together with my brother, I wrote a tool to index A tool to index the proprietary Typhoon My Mini Dj music database
- Free Fighter Engine: I ported Moah’s KOF91 game engine to Linux (easy, Allegro based), but I have no time to maintain it
- KickPiM (original site), written by Bert Speckels, is a panel applet for quickly editing and accessing the KDE addressbook or sending emails to your contacts. It shows also a list of upcoming birthdays and waiting emails of multiple email-accounts. Bert was not working on KickPim anymore so I maintained some patches and enhancements.
- KumaPlayer, KDE based Movie Player (mplayer front-end): A project from my brother Michael where I wrote a bunch of code too.
