Thanks for the information. I think the openSUSE community will thanks you to give them that urgent and important information.
It is a pitty your english does not go further to give a deeper analysis of the situation, so you can’t show you are not really a dumb, retarded zealot.
Also interesting a non-SUSE user reading SUSE blogs. But it is well known they search for zealot’ing material in their free time: blogs, and fud posts, so they can copy and spread them, instead of reading, and forming an opinion.
And interestingly, Google returns no results for “opensuse dead” but a lot for “debian dead”.
If you are able to read english, go and read: http://duncan.mac-vicar.com/blog/archives/148
You are one of them! Ballmer team! booohhh!!!!

I dont’care if debian is dead, I just say (open)suse smells like it’s a dead project. no need to get aggressive, really.
also… maybe i’m not able to read english, but your:
“I think the openSUSE community will thanks you”
should read
“will thank you”
I’m not a huge fan of Ballmer’s. I’d say you at (open)SUSE are

Thanks for the typo. Fixed.
Don’t try to look innocent now. You go and leave stupid comments like those brainless hip-hoppers do with graffitis in a wall. “opensuse is dead”, and you pretend then somebody to take you seriously?.
Are you subscribed to the opensuse mailing lists?. Do you see the traffic? Do you know how much content does the wiki have? Have you tried the build service? Did you know that it existed?.
No, you are a zealot that not even use SUSE, but have enough free time to go and talk bullshit.
The most ironic part is my post was about contributions, which basically means activity.
Ballmer talks bullshit, without context, and that is exactly what you did.

I’m not trying to look anything… You’re attacking me while I just said (open)suse is dead. Maybe I should have written something like:
“Thanks to Novell we’re in a pretty fucked up situation, especially (open)suse, and you talk about updates… There won’t be anything like an update for Novell/SUSE once GPLv3 hits the streets
”
There you have the context. Again, I’m not attacking you. I found myself writing that post almost without noticing it… and I’m sorry I did it, I really am.
You can delete my comments if you want, but that won’t change the current situation, i’m afraid
